From the initial signing of the franchise agreement approximately 3-6 months.

What type of training do you provide?

Prior and during opening you will receive formal training at a corporate Solartan® location as well as at your store. Ongoing support is always available. Video internet training is now available.

Does Solartan® help us with the administrative details of owning a business?

Yes, Solartan® will assist you through all the documentation associated with opening your store as well as organizing your office and store. If you do not have a basic knowledge of accounting you will need to hire an accountant.

Where will I buy my tanning products for re-sale?

We have negotiated competitive pricing through volume discounting with our manufactures, we pass on this saving to you. We stock product at our corporate location and fulfill your order promptly.

What do I need to be a successful Solartan® owner operator?

Personal discipline and follow through as well as leadership skills. The ability to motivate others by example will provide a solid foundation to your business. Strong work ethic and an obsession to succeed with utmost respect for your customers and employees are common characteristics of strong owners.

How many employees will I need?

This will vary depending on season, customer count, store size and sales volume. However, a typical store operates with 4-6 pare time employees and a full time manager. Which could be you?
