• Most of our stores are between 1500 and 2500 Square feet with 10-18 tanning units per store.
• Solartan® builds stores with a modern design featuring classy, high-tech build-outs with plasma televisions, innovative wall systems, lighted signs, neon trim and much more.
• Solartan® has developed a unique and modern modular wall system, simplifying the store build-out at the same time utilizing every square inch of a leased space.
• Solartan® thrives in middle to upper class market conditions within small or large strip malls. We look for areas with strong residential, office, hospital and retail stores near by. Tenant mix is best with a large anchor especially with gym, hair salon or even a bridal shop.
• Our business operates 7 days a week with a peak season between Februarys through June.
• Solartan® operates most successfully under an owner operator concept. If the owner is actively involved in the day to day details of the business the overall numbers reflect it.
• Most importantly we look for special franchisees that recognize that Solartan’s® concept will prosper in your neighborhood market and have the desire to make Solartan® a part of their business community.
If you are ready to proceed take a look:
1. You will start by filling out our short online franchise application or by sending or faxing us an application.
2. Solartan® will then send you the full franchise application that you must fill out and return.
3. Once we receive your full application Solartan® will evaluate your financial stability and schedule a telephone interview and then a trip to our offices.
4. If you’re financial condition qualifies and you are the right person for a Solartan, you will be sent our Uniform Franchising Offering Circular and Franchise Agreement for a full evaluation on your part.
5. After review, you will sign the UFOC and franchise agreement, enclose a check for the franchise fee and returns it to Solartan.
6. You will prepare a business plan with our template and guidelines as well as complete the financial applications and send back to Solartan.
7. Site location will begin and soon you will own your very own Solartan.
